J.M. Huber India Pvt. Ltd., Jhagadia
This is a batch reactor type sewage treatment plant with a capacity of 100 KL/Day. The capital and running costs are far less as compared to conventional STP, as aeration and settling takes place in one tank only (in one SBR reactor). STP consists of Bar Screen, O & G Trap, Collection Tank, SBR, Treated sewage sump, Chlorination and Tertiary treatment. The plant is equipped with a membrane bag filter for dewatering of sludge (in place of conventional sludge drying beds). A bag filter is also provided at the outlet of tertiary plant units to minimize TSS. |

Hindustan Gum and Chemicals Ltd.
Hindustan Gum and Chemicals Ltd.had a conentional primary, secondary and tertiary ETP, which used up lot of chemicals and generated huge amount of sludge.
We designed and commissioned a state of the art ETP which ommited messy and expensive primary treatment completely. The raw effluent is taken to an Anaerobic reactor followed by polishing unit and existing biological plant with tube settlers. We designed ETP looking in to client's future requirements.
This has resulted in saving of INR 6-7 lacs of chemicals and costs of handling sludge, saving of 85 HP of power per day and gas generation worth INR 8 lacs. This means a saving of Approx. INR 40-41 lacs per annum.
The final effluent is taken to a tertiary plant followed by ultra filtration. Part of the water is used for irrigation in their own premises and a part being taken to RO plant for boiler feed requirements. |
